The Horten Ho229 (often called the Gotha Go 229) was an experimental bomber/fighter aircraft built by Gotha Go in the late World War II. It was the first flyingwing powered by jet engines. Due to its shape and use it has been often called the first "stealth bomber" as the paint and shape gave it 20% reduction to detection by the Chain Home radar.

This Aircraft in real life was made under Hermann Göring's 3x1000 project criteria (The 3x1000 were 1000 Kilograms (2,200lb) of Ordinance, 1000 Kilometers (620 mile) operational range and 1000 KM/H (620 Mph) speed, it did not entirely meet these requirements but it was the only design to even come CLOSE to meeting the Requirements.

Curiously this plane is listed as an Interceptor plane In Game, when its complete lack of control surfaces and "Flying Wing" design clearly send it towards a Tactical Bombing purpose, as the design is simply too small to support the sheer amount of Ordinance needed for Strategic Bombing.
